I HAVE RECEIVED SALVATION, NOW WHAT?
THE PERFECT LOVE | June 1, 2015

amazing graceThe next step would be to join a good church, not just any church, but a church where they teach all the word of God; the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.

You may be wondering, “Why is church essential?”

Church is essential because it is the ‘gate of heaven’.  Church is where the angels are getting in.

Church is the accountable place for covenant, kingdom people. Once you are connected to a church, the angels of God go with you wherever you go. Hallelujah!  (*JOHN 1:51).

Let’s dig further into this to help you understand even more.

We are made in His image and likeness  (*GENESIS 1:26,27).

God is: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit.

We are a spirit, (heart of man) we have a soul, and we live in a body.

We are saved instantly in the spirit, progressively in the soul, and future in the body {God is going to give us new bodies when we get to heaven}.

The soul (the outer man) is the place where our mind, (intellect) emotions, and will resides.  The soul controls how we think, how we feel, and how we do things.

The spirit is saved instantly, but the soul rejects Him because it’s dead to the things of God.   The soul will try to tell us things contrary to God; therefore, we must get that soul saved.

The body does not have its own mind but it’s influenced by the soul which is influenced by either God or satan.

We must allow the Holy Spirit to save and sanctify our souls {this is the progression}.

The bible tells us in *Romans 12:1,2 “……..by the mercies of God that we present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is our reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of our minds………”.

I strongly encourage you to connect with a Triple  ‘A’  church.

A Triple  ‘A’  church  is a  church that is built on Him, (Jesus Christ) and  for Him                    (*Psalm 127:1a).

A Triple  ‘A’  church have an affinity for the heart of God.

A Triple  ‘A’  church have these three components:

1.  An Appreciation for the Word of God with a pastor that is going to feed you the Word. The bible tells us that God gives us pastors after His heart  (*Jeremiah 3:15).

The Triple A’ church have an overwhelming attitude of gratitude for the One that saved them. They do not want anything that God does not give them.  They are appreciative of the “little things” and because of this, God fills up their cup to overflowing.

2.  An Affection towards the house of God.  They have a love, a devotion, and a passion for God.  To have a passion for Him means you go after Him  (*I CHRONICLES 28:9).

No matter what is in the way, nothing will keep you from following and chasing after Jesus.

How do you show your affection?  When you enter  into His gates with thanksgiving, And into His courts with praise…….(*PSALM 100:4).

3.  An Aspiration for the cause of God. An aspiration for the cause of God carries the connotation that you will be wrongly persecuted for the right you do. One example would  be if you are asked, “why do you go to church all the time?” When people see you doing right, they will persecute you.  The enemy, (the devil) use people to persecute you.

Enduring persecution brings God’s power, praise and promotion                                                                   (*Matt 5:3-11) and  (*II Timothy 3:10, 11).

The Triple  ‘A’  church have a strong desire and delight to please the Lord. They do not care who it separates them from  (*ROMANS 8:39).

Our whole purpose for living is to see the Word of God have a transformative effect in our lives.  If we continue to allow the soul to do what it wants, we will never be able to experience the life God has made available to us. That’s why we must get the soul saved and get connected with a  Triple  ‘A’  church.

The Message Bible tells us in 1 Thessalonians 5:23 “May God himself, the God who makes everything holy and whole, make you holy and whole, put you together – spirit, soul, and body – and keep you fit for the coming of our Master, Jesus Christ. The one who called   you is completely dependable. If HE said it, He’ll do it!”
